Technical Training

This two-day training session focuses on the technical aspects of the StarSystem. To participate, you are required to have a basic computer networking background and to attend both days of training. During these sessions, you will learn about the unique Star2Star architecture, the configuration and implementation process of a working StarSystem and how to use the Star2Star portal for monitoring. After completing this course, you will have sufficient understanding of our unique architecture to complete a StarSystem installation.

Date: Tuesday and Wednesday, June 17th and 18th, 2008

Time: 8:30am-5:00pm, breakfast and lunch included

Cost: The cost per person is $250

Required: This is a 2 day training session. Attendees are required to attend both days. Laptops are required with Macromedia Flash installed. If you are uncertain as to whether your PC can run flash please visit our web site and select Resources. You should be able to run the Broadband speed test. Please also ensure your laptop has the ability to download and view .pdf files. Please disable the wireless feature when attending the training session as a wired internet connection will be available. Students will take a certification test paper on day 2 requiring an 80% or greater pass mark to achieve full certification. Please have your Star2Star Dealer Portal access credentials available. Prior to taking the course please log in to the Star2Star Portal and take the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the portal layout as we will use this extensively during the training sessions. If you do not have a log in ID and password please contact your Star2Star sales representative.
